Seymour duncan 54' STL1 bridge pickup in a 4 way switch mod...i need your help!

Hello,

I'm building a telemaster.
I already have a Seymour duncan 54' STL1 bridge pickup (that i love very much) scavenged form an old esquire project.

I would like to set a 4 way switch telecaster configuration (standard 3 way configuration + pickups in serie).
So i need some informations about the polarity and the winding of this vintage 54' STL1 pickup (for the humbucking effet) but i didn't find anything.

I seek for a tele neck pickup since i love the look of a tele neck pickup with a cover plate in telemaster.
However i need advise because it seems that balance issues with output level can occur with some pickup set.

So which neck pickup will be great in my configuration ?

Thank you very much,

ps: i apologize for my bad english

The STR-1 is the obvious choice but the APT-1n or the Five-Two model should also sound sweet.

Be aware that, for series wiring, you will need to disconnect the link wire between the pickup ground conductor and the metal cover. The easiest way is to desolder the cover end and bend it away to one side. Then, you need to run a second ground wire between the metal cover of the neck pickup and somewhere suitable in the control cavity.
