Seymour Duncan based on a big lie?!

Re: Seymour Duncan based on a big lie?!

I don't think what Robbie said was insulting to Seymour---he was just shooting the breeze with a fellow musician---I think Robbie just meant it was ironic the way his off handed comment turned out to be the right way to get a hotter sound----------IMHO---------------JIMO

Re: Seymour Duncan based on a big lie?!

I REKON!!! C'mon now, all you who only know The Band for their song The Weight need to go get yourself a copy of The Last Waltz

Re: Seymour Duncan based on a big lie?!

I am with you on this one Jeremy !
But I don't have a bloody Porsh , but an old rusty Renault ...
  :chairfall

Hahahahahahahaha...Jeremy has the sign on his PORCH...also known as a "verandah" or even a "patio".

I for one would never hang a 50 year old sign on a Porche :smack:

Re: Seymour Duncan based on a big lie?!

if i had a porsche i might hang a sign on it but since i dont then i guess it doesnt matter.

Who was the first to manufacture aftermarket pickups? Seymour? Larry DiMarzio? Bill Lawrence? I think it was Lawrence.

Re: Seymour Duncan based on a big lie?!

Doesn't DiMarzio always tout the DiMarzio Distortion as "the one that started it all?"

Re: Seymour Duncan based on a big lie?!

Or we could all agree that both Robbie Robertson and Seymour Duncan "discovered" something that is completely obvious to any first-year electrical engineering student. :fingersx:
