Re: Seymour Duncan EVH Frankenstein Pickup

^ Well, I do like the Frankenstein pickup in Southern Swamp ash. Its really nails the later Van Halen sound.
I've always been more interested in VH-1 tone, and I have my '78 in North Ash, and that just helps to really achieve a good approximation of the grail VH-1 sound even with "just" a JCM800, Greenback cabinet , and a British Hot rod Plexi distortion pedal.
