Seymour Duncan loaded strat pickguard

Hello
I want to upgrade my Squier Modified 70s Strat. It has " Duncan Designed" pickups. My question, will the S.D. loaded pickguards fit a Squier? Will the screw holes line up? Thanks

The loaded pickguards are direct fit replacements on USA Fenders, so I am guessing the hole won't line up. :( The pickguard may cover the misaligned holes, or you can choose to just install pickups in the pickguard you have.

Or drilling holes in the pickguard to make it fit the guitar?

Re: Seymour Duncan loaded strat pickguard

Well, that is a solution, yes. However countersinking holes so close to the edge and close to other holes on the pickguard might be a little bit of a problem. You can also transfer everything wired up to your pickguard, and then sell the Duncan one to make some cash.

^^ Best solutions are always in plain sigh, you just have to look again :)
