Re: Seymour Duncan Pickup return Policy
Uhhhh..... I guess you could, but if everyone did that, there'd quickly be no more 21 Day Real World Exchange Policy.
Also, note that not every country honors the policy. If you're outside the USA, make sure to check with the local
Seymour Duncan Distributor in your country.
I hope that helps.
Hello Evan! That was more of a joke than anything else! I really think the Custom is going to do it for me in my SG into my Mesa Stilletto. Im not looking to try everything, just want to find that "something" im looking for. I have high expectations of the Custom given my pickup trials:
First original Gibby 490's
then JB
then Custom 5
Then PRS Dragon II Neck and Bridge set
then dimarzio super 3
then dimarzio Norton
(tried a dimarzio Super Distortion in my freinds' SG)
then Custom Custom
(tried a Pearly Gates set in my freinds' 68 Goldtop)
then Duncan Distortion
and now Custom Custom.
Breath...panting....breath!!
I thought for a while that I wanted more mids to get the low-midsy chunk and clear top end I was after. But after trying these pickups out Im finding out that just gives you more scratch and less boom matched with the punch of the pickup.. I also know that by getting too radical of a mid scoop it just gets sloppy when I add gain to it--thats what I found with the Custom 5. A tight, chunky sound is what Ive always been after. Im finding (theoretically) that I really want a pickup with a pretty matched bass and mid-range response, and just enough treble to give me clarity and sing when i want it. Think the Custom will do it for me?
Brandon in your customer service department has been a HUGE help to me in determining this. Props for your great customer service! He has always been very supportive and helpfull to me when Ive called, even when it was to return a pickup (which im assuming as to be a little bit of a pain in the butt for him). Thanks for anything you could add Evan!
