Seymour Duncan - Saturday Night Specials Humbuckers - Anyone Still Using Them?

Most of the info I'm seeing on them, ie forum posts, videos are pretty old(not that the info isn't still relevant) Anyone still using Duncan Saturday Night Specials? Going to swap out the high gain hum's in my PRS S2 24 Standard and the SNS set seems like a nice way to dip my toes in the PAF sound while still being able to rock out with gain when needed. Any input on the set is appreciated!

Also, great to be back on the forums! I went to the User Group day at Duncan 15 years or so ago and I've now been employed in the music industry for the past 11 years(not at Duncan). It made a huge impact on me, thank you Seymour Duncan!

I have a set of SNS awaiting to go into a 1978 LP Custom. If you want to know what these pickups sound like in a Les Paul with high gain application, check out the youtube video from "Arnold Plays Guitar", who borrowed a friends 78 LP Custom with this pickup set.

Dang the SNS sound KILLER for higher gain stuff, thanks for sharing

I had a pair in my S2 singlecut semi-hollow that worked well for me. It was my drop d guitar for my 90s band and while the tone wasn't my favorite in a standalone context, they worked really well in the band context.

i have a set in a prs se and they sound great. not as hot as i would have expected but i really like both. i used a neck sns with a jb in a tele and that matched up quite well too. ive been tempted to mag swap them, a3 neck a2 bridge, but havent gotten around to it, and they sound really nice as they are.

Welcome back...
In general, it seems to be that the people who have used them think they're great.
But from the info that I've found and videos I've watched...
I've come to the conclusion only a very small group has used them.
