Seymour Duncan SH-5 to replace pickups in Jazzmaster?

The Jazz bridge has more output than the Jazz neck, so it might be a better match for the Custom if you put it in the neck. The 59 has a lot more bass than the Jazz- the 59's EQ is very close to the Custom, actually.

i have the jazz bridge in the neck of a LP Custom and it's my favorite neck pickup. Sounds great!

very interesting. rods but two bars a well, so which are the magnets? id guess the coils are wound around the bars?
