hi i have just bought a seymour duncan duncan ssl-5 and it does not have beveled edges and every image i can find on line shows them to have beveled edges. i hope its the real thing and i know sometimes different types are made in some years
I've never seen a Seymour Duncan single coil with that kind of baseplate, sticker or hookup wire. Other guys on here might be more familiar with recent SSL-5s than I am. But Duncan could lookup the serial number and tell you for sure 100%.
That looks fine to me. The SSL-6 that I've got definitely doesn't have beveled edges and has wires and a baseplate that looks just like that. If it's a fake, it's a pretty good one.
where can i look for the serial numbers of the seimour duncan?
I bought in a serious shop, Thomann.de, the largest music department in Europe
thank you all
