Seymour Pups polarity and such

Hi,

I have a great Tokai tele with a P90 in the neck, and i would like to upgrade the pickups, especially the bridge single coil, which is a bit shrill and weak compared to the P90.

Whether i change just the bridge or both, since there is no "neck P90-bridge single coil" set, how can i know the polarity of a Seymour pickup according to the website ? There doesn't seem to be any info in the specs.

Let's say i want a SP901 on the neck and a Jerry Donahue on the bridge, how can i know it's gonna be RWRP ?

I have always been pleased with Seymour pickups, i really don't see any reason for going for more boutique stuff (except maybe the horrible idea of putting the Seymour Logo on the top of the pu, this looks really bad on a great guitar, imho. I hope it's easily scratchable/removable).

Oh, and by the way, i used to love theFender Custom Shop Texas Special on the bridge in another tele i had, which Seymour bridge single coil would be the closest in your opinion ?

Thanks for your insights !

Re: Seymour Pups polarity and such

My educated guess is they are in phase. If you want an rwrp P90 then flip both magnet and flip the leads by resoldering them to the braided wire flipped. If you know how to solder and know how a P90 work, no biggie.
