Seymourizers?

A quick search of the forum, and my recollection tells me that one of the Seymourizer pickups was the predecessor to the SH-6n distortion neck. I believe that's the Seymourizer II. I believe there was also a Seymourizer I, which was meant to be a bridge pickup. What's the deal with these two pickups? In particular, what do they sound like, what's their DC resistance, resonant peak, and awg?

Re: Seymourizers?

Seymourizer I = SH6 bridge
Seymourizer II = SH6 neck

At least that´s the way I remember it, they just weren´t called distortion in the beginning IIRC.

Re: Seymourizers?

I have a Distortion neck I'm putting into the bridge of my Basswood Jackson Dinky...looking for a Full Shred like sound with more thickness. I'll report back. If its a fail, then it'll go into the neck with a Anderson H3 for a bridge.
