SFX-01 Can I Set Gain to Unity?

Good afternoon to you from the snowy, cold UK.

Can the gain of this pedal be set LOWER so that it starts at unity (Ie:- No boost rather than + 6 Db) when the pedal is witched on - that way you caould just have the Tone modification dialled in - but if you wanted, by turning up the gain control you would stil be able to boost up to say, + 20 Db.

I see there is a small preset potentiometer inside the pedal - is this what it's for?

Might be better off going through the website and contacting SD tech support directly.

you can change the pot value or something to lower the range. cant remember exactly but it can be done. call a seymour duncan tech or email frank falbo

Use the search on here. I asked the question a little while ago, and got a response from Frank Falbo at SD. I think it was change a potentiometer value maybe to drop the initial gain to about a 3dB boost, rather than 6.
