Hi I've got a question regarding the SFX-01 Pickup Booster. I'd like to have it modded so that it actually acts as a volume cut and boost pedal. There was a thread here some time ago where it was mentioned that the standard minimum boost could be modded from 6db down to 3db, I think Frank Falbo might have contributed to that thread.
I don't mind loosing most of the boost function, I really only want to be able to boost maybe 10db or so. I have a couple of amps, a Blues Jnr and an AC30CC2 that don't like a few of my higher output guitars and produce some horrible bass "farting" tones :scratchch instead of a clean bass tone.
I'm completely ham fisted when it comes to actually doing any kind of soldering / wiring, maybe someone could let me know if this mod is do able and which parts or pots etc I might need to get, I can then get my local shop to hopefully do the job.
