SFX-04 Using With Digitech RP 1000 Issues

I am having one heck of a time trying to implement the TTM pedal with the Digitech RP 1000. There is a Stomp Loop where this is supposedly to be ran through but I have found it hampers the great distortion and totally kills the Boost feature.
I am starting to think this specific pedal is way to powerful for use with a Digitech RP 1000.
I would hate to have to either get rid of the RP 1000 or the TTM pedal so any SUggestions on how to properly connect this so I can use both?
I even tried to put the TTM in between the Guitar and the RP 1000 but foudn that the Tone was absolutely Horrid and it made any Level, gain , boost feature totally worthless and not even noticable when activated.

Honestly, I'm having a really hard time understanding you - PERIODS ARE YOUR FRIEND. Please, if for no other reason than to receive coherent and accurate replies, go back and edit that until it resembles properly constructed English. Trying to read that mess hurts my brain.

Anyway, I'll offer my advice. You definitely don't want to run the Mayhem in any loop found on the Digitech. The ideal way to run both pedals would be Guitar-->SFX-04-->RP1000-->amp sim. In this incarnation, you'll want to run your sim and RP1000 as clean as possible, because the Mayhem has a LOT of distortion.

Honestly though, I think a lot of your problem is your lack of a real amp. Go out to a guitar store with your SFX-04 and RP-1000, plug it in as detailed above, and see how it sounds. I'm willing to bet it'd be much better. Oh, and if you do this, make sure to turn off all amp and cab simulation on your RP-1000, as you're running into a real amp :lol:

Oh thats to bad as I get great sound with the RP 1000 ran into the mixer and the PA system and Have no desire to spend a few hunderd $$ more on a Guitar amp when all the recording I do is straight to the computer VIA USB and a guitar amp would not have any effect on it.
I seen the video on the TTM pedal and I liked the Distortion and Tone and assumed I could get that with the RP 1000 but from the reply I guess I was gravely mistaken.
I actually like the RP 1000 and the Setup I have.
I was just wanting to add a little heavier sound by using the TTM pedal thats all
Thanks Agileguy but as you can see I ran the SFX-04 as you suggested and that setup has the worst result of all of the Different variations I tried.
The Volume,Distortion do not seem to have much control on the Overall Sound and the Boost feature is Totally counteracted.

If you like the tone you get from the RP1000 why not just use its built in effects and create a new patch for metal? I haven't ever had much success running pedals (especially distortion or overdrive) into a digital modeller.

well i actually do have about 6 presets I made but none of them have the awesome Sound I heard when I seen the Video of the Guy who was showing the Features of the TTM pedal so I (never using a Tube Pedal Before or a Pedal with one of the Digitech style Units) Assumed I could get that really sweet Sound if I used the stomp loop (it is one of the Things that Digitech says is so awesome about the RP1000 so I figured Stomp loop+ TTM is a Stomp Pedal= Should work awesome> my mistake Lol)
Ya I can get decent enough Distortion and Great tone with the RP 1000 I just wanted something extra along with teh ability to dial in some Variations not currently achievable.
But I have learned a great deal about the RP 1000 that I did not know along with some of the Distortion features it has so it has not all been a total waste as i now have some great Ideas at stuff I can do to get quite a bit different sound out of teh RP 1000 just not with the TTM pedal though
