SG Classic w/p-90

Looking at getting a SG classic with the p-90. Can anyone tell me if gibson did the reverse winding on the pickups to get hum cancelling in the middle position?

My SG Special with P90s doesn't have hum cancelling in the mid position, so I doubt the Classic will have it.
