SH-1n RP question

Hi, I am new here and couldn't find a related existing topic so i started this new thread. Here's my "case":

I recently played a Fender Telecaster Custom with the following pickup configuration:

1 Seymour Duncan® SH-1N RP ‘59 Reverse Polarity Humbucker (Bridge),
1 Seymour Duncan® SHPGP-1B Pearly Gates Plus Humbucker (Neck)

I really liked the sound of these pu’s, but can’t find them on the SD website. Can someone describe/explain the difference soundwise between the regular SH-1n and the SH-1n RP?

Thanks,
Robert

Re: SH-1n RP question

The Pearly Gates Plus is available from Allparts as a Fender Replacement part.

The 59N you described would be a special order I believe...or you can reverse the polarity yourself by taking a regular 59N, loosening the bottem plate until you can slide the magnet out and then turning it over (like rolling over in bed) and reinstalling the magnet...if that's all that's differant about the pickup you described.
