I am pretty excited to get this guy in my 70s Yamaha Studio Lord. I decided to go the route of a moderate output pickup, since I don't need high output pickups given the amps I own. It will replace a Duncan Distortion and is being paired up with a SH-2n. I love the Distortion, so I am hoping this isn't a move in the wrong direction. I don't think it will be, but tomorrow will determine that. I recently put a set of stock pickups in my Yamaha SG1000 which are low output and loved the results. Those stock pups replaced a Distortion/'59 set, and thus the inspiration for trying a Jazz bridge. Is anyone else rocking a Jazz set or a Jazz bridge? I would be interested in hearing your results!
