SH-6 Neck and SH-5 Bridge?

Hi everyone,

Greetings. This is my first post.

I was searching for info about this combo (SH-6 Neck and SH-5 Bridge) but it seems there is little info.

I was wondering if they would be balanced, i.e. the SH-6 Neck would overpower the SH-5 Bridge.

Any thoughts, please?

Why not just get a SH6 neck version? then they will balance fine. Using a bridge in the neck you would have to sink the neck deep to get it to balance.

Yes, that's exactly what I have in hand.

SH6n + SH5b

Still I was wondering if the SH6n would overpower the SH5b, since the SH6n seems to utilise a more powerful ceramic than the SH5b.

No it will work fine. Just set up the sh6n a bit lower to begin with and take it from there.

Nah you will be just fine there's more to pickup output than the magnet. SH6N is a great neck pickup worst case scenario is you spend 2 minutes with a screw driver tweaking the heights to your taste.
