Found this for sale locally... not sure what it is?

I'm assuming it's a Duncan Distortion? But then why the "1B"?

Help! Should I pull the trigger and expect to get a Distortion?​

Wasn't sure if it belonged there... I had no doubt it's a real Duncan. I just didn't know what kind of real Duncan it was.

I did some research and read somewhere else that it's loosely related to the Gibson 500T too.

Too bad the seller never responded. I would've so liked it to try it out.

The reverb link you posted is just speculation about it being triple ceramic. I cannot find anywhere where someone says for certain that they have triple ceramics. I've been doing a little bit of searching and the only sources I see are forum posts of people saying "I heard it has triple ceramics", so I'm not putting too much credence to it. Circular rumors

The only hard info I can find is the DD-1 is based off the Custom, and the DD-5 is it's corresponding neck pickup, based off the 59. They are both advertised as ceramic.

I have sent them an email asking for clarification
