I may be getting a new parralel axis pickup and the name on the box says sh-tb1
It looks like a parallel axis and I am looking to buy a parralel axis PATB1. Is this the same pickup? Duncan doesnt even have it on their site but it clearly says SH-TB1 on the printed case liner.

Anyone have an idea? Thanks

The SH-TB1 is a Parallel axis version of the 59 I think? Anyone know? I cant find any info but it does not sound as gainy or bassy as my other PATB1. I either wired it wrong or its a 59 Parallel axis. I think I may be sellin it if its not a PATB1 . It was new and never installed before tonight.

Do you have a meter to check the DC resistance? That should give you a clue as to what it really is.

No meter. I called and emailed Duncan and no word back yet? Thanks

Maybe it's the neck model? Wouldn't that be a misnomer though a non-trembucker Parallel Axis? Just when I thought all Parallel Axis were trembuckers (trem-spaced)

The PATB-1 is available in a standard spaced neck model.

So what was the official name of that pickup PAB-1? Is it still available?

I just bought a neck version from the same guy I bought a shtb1 from. The neck is hotter than the bridge. That made me think it was a sh1 (59) in parralel axis form?
I havent heard from Duncan and probably wont? If anyone knows please tell me if there are more than 3 Parallel axis pickups other than the blues, patb2, patb1. I own all of these pickups at the moment but will sell 1 or 2 soon. Just trying to narrow it down.
