Shorter Screws Available for SD humbuckers?

My new pickup project, Christmas present to self, came out great. Put a TB-11 in my strat with two aps-2's.

I had to cut some length off of the provided screws on the bucker. They were about half and inch too long to fit in the stock cavity on my strat body.

Just for the future, are there shorter screws available? And where? Thanks!

I am reasonably sure that the OP was talking about the mounting screws and not the adjustable post screws that exit the base plate.

If it is your assertion that trimming the mounting screws adds more highs and tightness, I'll play along!

Trimming the mounting screws is pretty easy and if you clean the burrs up they are reuseable. Otherwise you can usually find shorter screws at the local hardware for a couple pennies a piece.

my bad! LOL i am so used to all the modding around these parts i thought he meant the pole screws but yeah the MOUNTING screws are available in shorter lengths for just this reason.
OP the mounting screws are available at any good harware store,take the longer one to reference the thread size and buy whatever length you like
