I don't have any experience using or any sort of POD device. I have heard some clips on line that use this and they sound great.

Should I buy it?

No doubt POD 2.0's are great units for the price, id personally say yes, if you feel you need a multi fx board!

These are really good for recording. They have a lot of differnt types of sounds, and you can create your own if you want. I would probably not use it in a Live situation though. I think they sound a little thin live. For recording they are pretty good.

for that price, if you don't buy it, i will. then i'll take this pod i bought, go over to your house, and leave a big pod-mark right across your face. :p

I love my POD 2.0, great for practising. Yet to use for recording. I recommend!

Line 6 stuff is great for recording and practising with.. i'd still prefer a nicer amp live but it does the job

Thanks guys. I emailed him at about 8:00 PM EST Monday. I think that this is about 12:00 hours after he posted it. I hope I can get it from him.

I'm hoping to use this POD around the house and maybe even to record some stuff. I am in the market for a nice tube combo for playing out but money is tight with trying to save for a house.

BTW I heard a cover band the other night that sounded great. the Guitarist had a ASAT Classic and (I think) a 1x12 Mesa F-combo. They had a real nice sound.

I definitely second that. The price is hard to beat. I did my last CD with the POD 2.0 and it worked beautifully in that setting (mainly used the Marshall and 4X12 setting, with the Fender Twin one for a couple things). However, they're not very good for live work as they tend to sound very shrill when run through an amp, ther's just NO substitute for a good amp when playing live.
