Should I get a new chassis for a Soundtank Tubescreamer?

I have an old Soundtank Tubescreamer laying around doing nothing. It sounds great but the switch is always going out. Would it be worthwhile to transfer the guts to an aftermarket chassis with a different switch?

If you are comfortable doing this I would just buy a Hammond project box and drill the holes out and pop it in there with a new switch.

Would be a good project for sure!
My old Arion chorus is on that list...but I am too lazy to do it
And my old buddy is borrowing it as it is!
