Should i get a new pickup?

Any of you have a love/hate relationship with your pickups? Right now i have a tele hotrails, and i cannot make up my mind if i want to keep it or put the stock back in. Sometimes i play it and i am like "this is great" and other times i am just like "this sounds like a bad digestive tract." Yesterday i actually drove to the guitar store inteneding to get the stock one put back in, but i decided last minute not to do it and it is still there now.

if you are willing to spend the money, hell yeah get a new one. the key to happiness is expirimentation. or at least thats what all my friends say :burnout:

i know what you mean about the love/hate relationship. Its all up to you man, IMO stock pups generally aren't as good, isn't that why you buy replacements in the first place. Otherwise i say if it ain't broke don't fix it
