Let's see 'em! Those strats that have been w/ you since high school, rebuilt, repainted, stickered, stripped down, played hard and put away wet.

I can never get enough of seeing truly beat up and played hard strats.. Some of the stickered ones look amateurish, but some really pull it off well.

So let's show 'em if you got 'em! I'll start it off with a few of my tele w/ strat neck (hey, I only really got into strats a couple years ago, so cut me a little slack).

Yeah, but I stated that upfront-- and it's got a strat neck, so it's only half disqualified. I like your strat though!

No worries. I love my beat up strat. I called it the crackedocaster. It was found in a pawn shop covered in metallic purple paint, done badly. The previous owner sanded it off, and had to fix a crack in the body. It must have gotten hit pretty hard. It was slated for refinish, but never got done. I bought the body for less than $40. Then the neck was bought with tuners (changed them to lockers later), for about 35. SSL1 neck and mid, SSL6 bridge, and a wilkinson bridge I bought for about 25 with a big steel block. It's been a fantastic guitar.

No stickers, although I'm considering one, just not sure what yet.

Is that the same body that had the black & yellow EVH treatment once upon a time?

Wow, I dig your black Strat, Tattooedcarrot. Looks just like mine - blk w/rosewood board - except more played looking. I do have a huge crack/bash on the back of mine, though. :)
