Yeah, that LP has a wrap bridge. It's a '54 reissue. The bridge serves as the bridge and tailpiece all in one. Makes for a wicked great tone :D

RushOfBlood, I love your setup. The plants go really well with the cord pile and psychedelic guitar body!!

Re: Show your "recording studio" thread

haha it was right after a show, and everything just got piled in. man, it took forever to untangle those cords :-p

the body isn't so much psychadelia as nostalgia of being a little 10 year old girl :-p

upon closer inspection, you'll see that it's covered in little shiny stickers of hearts and cats and rainbows and bunnies and ladybugs....whatever, it's just covered in stickers. i miss chelsea :(

Re: Show your "recording studio" thread

Hey RushOfBlood, is that the guitar that you busted a while ago at a show? I remember you posting pics. You must have been pretty wild at that gig! :saeek:

Man, you guys have such nice studios and gear. All I have is my messy bedroom with NES games, CD's, my bed (A blanket and a pillow! :smoker: ), and old toys littering the floor. My room's a dumpster of personal posessions!

Re: Show your "recording studio" thread

it sure is, i've been too broke to get her back together though, and it's kind of taken a backseat :-\

Re: Show your "recording studio" thread

I don't know if I have any pics of my studio gear, but it's basically:

1 x BLUE The Ball mic
1 x AKG Digital Reference mic (acoustic guitar + snare drum)
3 x Shure SM57's
1 x Shure Beta 57
2 x Oktava 319's

Behringer Autocomp Compressor
Digitech Studio 2200 multi-effects processor
Oooold BBE Sonic Maximizer
ART Tube mic preamp
dbx 2 channel mic preamp

Roland GR30 guitar synthesizer
Roland VG88
Korg PXR4 processor/recorder
Boss DR-3 drum machine
Tech 21 Sansamp
A couple of direct boxes

Yamaha AW16G hard disc recorder (for tracking)
Cakewalk Sonar v2 (for mixing)

A friend who is a mastering engineer @ Sony (for mastering! ;) )

... Not a high end rig, by any means, but I've been able to get some nice results from it.

Re: Show your "recording studio" thread

This is the room where I record and store that old ¤"!54 and add a DR201 Hiwatt too.
I will get some pictures from the studio controlroom later on.
