last weekend I watched a concert of Paco de Lucia on TV and again the same thought crossed my mind I already had when I heard the guitar trio the first time:
how can this guy (and also Di Meola) play that fast with an acoustic - no compressor, no delay, no OD or Dist ???
no fake, no cheak - nothing but his fingers.
Distorted there always comes any kind of tone - also if coordination of the fingers is not perfect, but clean does not allow this.
What about you? Would you be able to play the same awesome stuff without any of these utilities?
