I was thinking that. How many does Mustaine have?
Gibson, Jackson, Dean, Kramer, Epiphone, bc rich and ESP, at least.
I think. Others?
Yes, Seven, aka Mick Thompson. He's also got his own SD pickups, and his own Eminence Speakers.
Eric Clapton has a signature Ibanez?!?
Eric Clapton just got tweaked versions of existing instruments. Les Paul, EVH, Chet Atkins, the guy from Nirvana, Steve Vai, St. Vincent, and a bunch of other guys all had new guitars made for them.
Also Fender and Gibson make instruments for musicians, wheras Martin tends to design their guitars more for the aforementioned musician's grandparents, so it makes sense Clapton would have one.
I liked Martin EC and the Fender EC Strat with their V shaped necks very much. But i never had the chance to play his Sig Gibson ES 335, its only a limited CS model i think.
Ibanez is too young to be one of the Big ol‘ Three.

Exactly the things I hated about his Fender and his Martin. I liked the sound of both though.
V necks are kind of a very acquired taste kinda thing, IMO. I don't get the ergonomy behind it. I don't think I ever will. But each to his own.
I guess? All the more reason I'd much prefer an R0, LOL.In short: Thicker neck for small to medium hands, no shoulders, thump over playing, riffing like Keith and Eric
BTW most of the famed Gibson 1959 Historics have a slightly rounded V neck.
