silvertone=sabbath????

well, i was playing around on the new beast today(just stopped), and was also listening to the self titled sabbath album, so i figured i would learn some sabbath of this album, so i got the tab for "the wizard" and "wicked world" :headbang: great songs, and i dialed in what i figured would be a sabbath like setting, and pumped the gain silvertone to 11 on the volume, and i got an amazing first album sabbath tone?!?!?!? any one else find this odd???

I haven't had the privledge of plugging into an old Laney Supergroup to a/b em, but the grind of the Silvertone opened up is vintage heavy all the way. Your not pushing 100 watts, but Sears had something going on with those amps. Works great for the Stripes!! My 1483 can get mighty "brown" when dimed so I can see that amp doing the Laney thing too.

i was a little suprised with my 1484 its definatly AMAZING for the money i payed for it(hehe 200$ canadian), the cleans on this amp are wonderful, and the infamous ****ty reverb and very good tremolo effect.
