Single coil neck for JB

I have a SC-H configuration for one of my guitars and I just want to know which SCSHB would work best in the neck position with a JB bridge.

The railzes are really great because of their full string coverage. I recommend Hot or Cool Rails.

The main thing is figuring out what is important. Do you want a similar output? Do you want a more classic single coil sound? Generally, a pickup that balances with a JB in output won't be the same one that has a great single coil sound.

Hot Rails if you rock the neck, Cool Railes to cool down. Both hum bucking. Get Hot Rails and split for single tones!

If you want a true single coil that balences volumewise with a JB, try a Quarter Pound. It won't sound like a vintage single though.

Be sure to use a 500k volume pot with the rail neck.
