Single Coil Noob Question.

I just installed a JB in my strat (HSS) that has a Floyd Rose. The JB is a Trembucker and is white and my stock p/u are creme and I want to keep the stock single coils for now. So I would like to buy white p/u covers and I'm wondering since the bridge p/u is a Trembucker or F-spaced, do the single coils have different spacing with a Floyd equipped guitar? Reason I asking is because I saw p/u covers for 50mm and some other size that I cant remember.. Thanks for the help!

Re: Single Coil Noob Question.

Pole spacing for single coils can vary for non-US made guitars.

If you've got a US Strat, just about any aftermarket covers (DiMarzio, Allparts, etc) should fit. If not, you'll need to measure them to be sure. Start your measurement with the center of the Low-E string pole piece, and end it with the center of the High-E string pole piece.

Some of the Japan strats used the US spacing. But Mexican models use a narrower spacing and the US covers won't fit.

Re: Single Coil Noob Question.

The spacing for Strat cover varies a little. I even have a narrower Seymour Duncan covers here, with matching narrower pickup.
