nope. dimarzio sds1 sorta. the prail p90 coil is the sd vintage p90. getting a p90 sound out of a strat size pup is tricky. if anyone tells you a qp, they are wrong. i like the qp a lot but it doesnt sound like a p90. the attack is all wrong

You should contact Scheffer-Pickups in the Netherlands. I got some really nice sounding pups from him. All handwound and with the finest materials.

I'm sure he could make something for you.

I have 2 single coils and a p90 format in the bridge.. sounds awesome!

Yeah, the P-90 sound is pretty unique. I can't think of any pup (Strat, Tele, single, or bucker) that can duplicate it. It's one of the reasons I love P-90s and use them so much in my builds.

Lindy Fralin and some other companies make "steel pole" strat pickups that are supposed to be built and sound more like p90s

I tried one of Lindy’s steel pole pups but it was a good deal brighter and harsher than what I was expecting or want (I’ve used prails in many guitars, so I have a good idea what to expect). The thing is the PRail doesn’t sound like most P90s. It has its own special sound.

I think the P-Rail P-90 sounds a little fuller/richer/smoother/bigger than most P-90s.

Jeremy is right, the Dimarzio SDS-1 is close in its factory format. When the hex poles are changed to the slotted type (you can harvest these out of other humbucker to give it a try) the SDS-1 is a lot closer. These in the neck and middle with a JB2 in the bridge is total hard rock perfection in an S style guitar.

The SDS and Strat-Bro already mentioned and the Rio Grande Dirty Harry are the best of the versions that I've heard

the strabro90 is a very cool pup but its only half p90. im sure the custom shop could make a full bro90 without the three rod magnets which would be closer to a p90

Check the routing in your Strat, you may already have routes for humbuckers in neck and bridge. If so just get an HH pickguar and maybe new pots? If not then maybe a luthier can change the routes to make room for humbuckers. If you love the PRails then just stick to them.
