Single Conductor humbucker wired with 4 conductor humbucker

I've done some searching and every thread I come across is very unclear. All I need to know is how can I install a 59/custom hybrid into the bridge position of an SG while leaving the stock single conductor neck humbucker in place. Standard cts pots no coil split. Or should I just replace the neck pickup with a 4 conductor also?

Here's a picture of the inside with both stock single conductor pickups in place

It doesn't matter. Just install the new pickup and wire it in series.

Why would you want to replace the neck single conductor when not wanting to split-parallel the neck pickup? Like DavidRavenMoon said, there is no need to change the neck humbucker (when you don't want to split it or put it in parallel). You can go ahead and change the bridge humbucker to a 4-conductor version and leave the neck single conductor as it is. Just solder the red and white wire of the duncan together and tape it off, bare wire to ground and black wire to 3-way selector switch, and you'll be there. (when pickups should be out of phase, reverse the green and black wire on the Duncan). :fing2:

See I was going to do exactly that but I thought to myself "There's no way its gonna be that simple" but I guess it really is. I really appreciate it guys

When getting into guitar wiring, you run into all kinds of unexpected problems, so I understand what you are saying! ;)
You're welcome bro!! :fing2: By the way, there is no shame in asking something here on the forum just to make sure before you get into the actual wiring!

Yeah it really is that simple! Let us know how this project turns out.
