Slipprey Spb-3 Covers ?

Well, I just installed my new Quarter Pounders. They sound GREAT ! I put em on a cheapo Bass. This was my first install. The only problem I had was that the covers on the pups kept sliding off. They are neccessary to have on since they hold the screws to hold em in and adjust the height. Anyway, the only way I could keep the covers on the pups was to put a few thin slices of duct tape on the bottom of the covers taped to the bottom of the pups. It works, and ya cant see the tape with the pick guard in place. But I was wondering.......it just does not seem like I should have to use anything added to make them functional. Is this normal ? Anyone have any thoughts or experience on this subject ?.............thanks

Place some foam under the pickups to hold them up. This what most P-Bass installations use. Rubber weather strip material works good or cut up an old mouse pad. The idea is that the foam pushes up and the covers with screws hold everything down.

SOrry if this is off-topic, but I actually need covers for some quarter pounders. Preferably ones with the Basslines logo. I bought OEM pickups that didn;t come with the covers, so basically they are unuseable without them. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

You could probably call Duncan directly and ask. They would most likely send you some.

If not, you can drill out a standard cover although that won't give you the logo. A step drill works really well for opening up the holes.
