Slither Clip

Re: Slither Clip

The one thing I noticed that you need to work on is your speed when it comes to the verses (the palm muted parts). Now to be fair, you probably couldn't hear very well when you were jamming along, but it still needs to be said. You really have to listen to the drums to get the tight, polished sound. If you vary at all from the drummer's rhythm then the song goes to hell.

Very good though. Now you need to tackle Slash's part! :smokin:

Re: Slither Clip

I'm actually better at giving constructive criticism than I am at playing! HA! I'm not very good (at the level you're at), but a friend and I have been working on that song for some time (he's a drummer). That's why I know important it is for the drummer and guitars to be on the same page.

I really need to get a little 8 track so I can share some stuff. It's on my "gas list" along with a new guitar and a new amp... :beerchug:

Re: Slither Clip

Does anybody actually go through that whole cover song thing than soundclick requires?

Your timing is off aswell. I had a few snakepit clips comewhere.

Re: Slither Clip

if you do ever get(or download) an album of theirs, get 5 o' clock somewhere if you're a GnR type of guy. Gt Aint Life Grand if your more into the modern bluesy hard rock.

Or you could always get both, but the imported ALG cost about $40
