Mini's are different. Like P90's they are somewhere between a single coil and a humbucker, both in tone and in output. IMO the P90 is like a fat single coil and the mini humbucker is like a thinner humbucker. I've thought about using a mini for a neck bucker because I do not like tubbiness at the neck.
