Hey there guys....Quick question... I just got a Jackson Kelly professional KE3 (like a brown burst) for 100.00 and a schecter hellraiser V for 250.00. The Kelly only has the neck pickup working and the someone took out the emg's on the hellraiser and put ibanez gio pickups. I have an invader and a dimebucker laying around...so my question is would the invader sound better in the kelly or the hellraiser..same question for the dimebucker. I have alot of other guitars that are versatile so I really wanted these to be straight up metal (maybe with a little versatility) I have read that a full shred would be a good neck for the invader and my buddy had the dimebucker paired with a screamin demon in the neck that sounds killer in a ibanez rg hardtail. Any help is very much appreciated..

"Better" and "good" are too subjective. ANY pup is a "good" pup if it's got the tone that you are looking for. Even a cheap Asian knock-off in a $50 import guitar may be "better" than a $150 custom pup if it has the exact lo-fi sound you are after.
You got a couple great deals there in those guitars. Either of those combinations of pups would work well in either of your guitars. They won't sound exactly the same, but they will work and sound good.
I'd say try them in one guitar then try them in your other guitar and see what you like best. You are really the only judge of what you want.

Yes I will put up pics later today.. The Kelly is alder and the hellraiser v is mahogany. Ya I know the best would be to try in each... Time is not my friend right now.. So I just wanted quick knowledge from the pickup guru's here ha ha

A KE3 for a hundy, nice deal. I'd go dime in the V, probably more mid-oriented of the two being mahogany and a smaller body, would agree with the scooped nature of the dime more. That leaves the vader for the Kelly, that will probably be monstrous.
Neck pickups, yeah, FS neck model, but not the bridge in the neck, that would probably be overly dark. I've tried a C5 in the neck, not very good, and I like dark neck pickups.
I'd go for a Distortion neck with the Invader and a Jazz or a 59 with the Dime myself.

Don't forget to double check the pots on the Schecter before you put in passives if it came stock with EMG's. You'll need 500K's instead of 25's, if they haven't been changed already.

Awesome.. Thanks for the input and help guys... If I wanted to get a little crazy with the wiring could you all tell me if this is possible...on the kelly .. It has a 3 way toggle.. could i have bridge, split bridge/neck and neck...and with a push/pull volume have both pickups go parallel...
