(This is going to sound ridiculous but...) As he is known for fuzz and peppermint swirl, whenever I see an Analogman Peppermint Fuzz I think of Jack White.
I'm sure... I think the Peppermint is loosely based on the Mosrite or Maestro.Looks nice. I just saw that float around on Devi Ever's fb page. I'm assuming it's a Burns Buzzaround clone, so the Peppermint Fuzz pedal is probably a different voice.
The Burns Buzzaround is apparently the new masturbatory fuzz going around these days, so it's just a cash grab for people who want their Klons to have company. I will say this though, that pedal is graphically 9.5/10 for me. I really like that industrial-deco look like the new Moogs have. I like that Copperplate font on there too...but the Moogs are the best. The Best. THE BEST.
Anyone seen that Chappers and the Cap'n vid with the Moog pedal train yet?
In sure... I think the Peppermint is loosely based on the Mosrite or Maestro.
As much as I like him musically, if I wanted to get Jack White's tone, I'd plug my guitar into my cat's ass and step on his tail.
I've been listening to a lot of T-Rex of late. Jack White definitlly "borrowed" a lot of vibe from Marc Boland vocally and guitar wise.
