your tele weigh? There seems to always be LP threads on this but no tele ones so lets hear it!! I have a baja tele that weighs in at 10 lbs. Plays and sounds sweet :1:

Well...mine aren't your standard Teles...Kramer Teles...each has a Floyd, one is Mahogany w/a Flame Maple Top and the other is one piece ash and the body alone weighs 5 lbs...I'd say they're both in the 9 lb range.

Mine is 7.5 lbs. It is a foto-flame, so I am not sure what the actual body wood is. I will have to do some research.

My Tele's are all G&L, Asat's and a Broadcaster.

'86 Broadcaster 8lbs. 11.8oz.
'87 Asat (Blonde) 7lbs. 3.9oz.
'87 Asat (Natural) 8lbs 0.6oz.
'07 Asat Classic 8lbs. 11.9oz.
'08 Asat Classic Custom 8lbs. 1.5oz.

They're all lightweights compared to my 12lbs. 4oz. '78 Les Paul, Deluxe!

My USA G&L is real close to 9 lbs, the old Fender is closer to 8 lbs and my "kit" tele is actually less than 5 lbs.

Rough estimate I'd say my MIM Fender is 7-8 lbs and the MIK Squier 6-7 lbs. Both resonate real well unplugged (even with all that poly on the Fender, must be the chips letting it breathe) and play great.
