BTW, ugly & out there are intended to be endearing terms! To me there's something very special about a guitar that looks like if it were to be touched it would just biodegrade in your hands but when you pick it up you relies its pure magic!!!!

I do have to get some props to Musicians Friend for not sending me a guitar that automatically needed a fret job & complete setup out of the box!

Actually, it was set up pretty darn good! Considering it came from Musicians Friend I would say it was set up perfectly, @ least as perfect as you'll ever get from them??? After about 10 mins of odds & ends stuff she plays beautifully, great action, & the new guard sounds like a million bucks, very happy with these results!!!!
