Yeah...I may have gotten a little bit more out of it, but...I just have that feeling. Sometimes you just do that.
So, I don't have it yet, but why should that slow the conversation?
So, my questions...BTW, with LP's and SG's I play jazz/fusion/blues...clean-mod. OD.
1-This thing comes with a 59n and JB bridge. I have not played the JB much (hardly at all), but I don't remember loving it. I see some like putting A2's in it. I think I have some A3's, 4's, and UO5's lying around. Any thoughts? They're 4-cond. so I'll be splitting them down the road...whatever goes in. I have 59's in a lot of guitars, so I may just decide to go the Seth or Antiq. route...depending upon what deals come along.
2-Will a Gibson or Allparts pickguard fit thing thing?
If you have any take on the Edwards LP's feel free to share...I like to read while I wait.

I like A2's in an LP. But I play more classic rock and blues. FWIW

A2 in a JB is not a million miles off being a SD Allan Holdsworth model humbucker!

I say forgo any "expectations" you might have, try the stock JB that's in there now and see how you like it. After all, this is a different guitar than you tried it in before.

Also, since you've got a UOA5 on hand, try that first if you decide the JB mag needs changing.

Well...the pics are on a password/copy protected site and I don't have the guitar in my hands so...anyway...it's a flame honeyburst lie with uncovered PUP's (which I will cover).
All I'm sure of is that Holdsworth is too da** nice to be hanging on my wall. Somebody needs to be playing that thing.
Feels right.
I will give the JB a good solid chance...no hurry. Like I said...just curious.
