At some point, it had black plastics and nickel hardware as well. I think I might go back to that.
 
I'd black it out again no question if only I could find a good aluminum Nashville bridge that I can top-adjust in black.

Now that I swapped the stock lightweight back in, I *think* I did notice a difference.

I'm honestly starting to dislike Schaller hardware. Everything is so heavy and the plating is so brittle.

I'm one who generally hates the look of black hardware, it looks cheap to me. Black pickups...good. Black knobs...good. Black pickguard...good. Black metal...yuck.
