Mahogany body bolt on maple neck fixed bridge. I've been planning on putting d activators into it whenever I find something for the guitar that currently had my d activators in it. However I've suddenly (like 5 minutes ago) started wondering about the DD. I love it in my ec1000, and what I perceive as what should be a bit of added brightness would match up very well with the tone I've been hearing in my head lately.

Has anyone tried this pup in a similar guitar?

The DD sounds great in almost any guitar. It'll obviously sound a bit different in your MTM2, but it should go with it pretty nicely!

The last one of those I played was extremely dull, like dead. In that one I'd say a DD would work, but I would've stuck EMG's in there if I had bought it. They seem to tolerate that kind of thing better. I don't know if that one was the exception or the rule.

Long story short, DD will most likely be fine and rock hard in there.
