So I Put an Alnico 2 Pro in My Les Paul....

... and so far I'm liking it! It is a lot like the 59, yet a little softer with a touch more mids. The 59 is a little more aggressive, and the A2 is a little more laid back. I get some great classic LP sounds from it. It has only been in the guitar for about two hours, so I'll report back after a few weeks. So far I think it is a good choice.

So after about two weeks these are still sounding great. I have the neck version in as well. Incredible clean tones! I would recommend anyone who is looking for some vintage Les Paul tones to try these. I'm really impressed.
