So I'm Thinking About Buying A Bugera 333, I Know, I Know!!!!

So like the title says I'm thinking of buying a Bugera 333 120w head. I know they have some issues & are pretty much made out of toothpicks but for the price it's pretty tempting to try and get one of the ones that will last for a year or more ? I very rarely use a big loud amp, I've got 8 other amplifiers & 6 of them are tube amps. I've got a AC-15 Twin, AC-30, NT50 g1, Ibanez TS15 head & cab, a Fender X2 Super Champ head & cab, & a Champion 600. The loudest of them, my Night Train is having some problems and it will probably be a while before I can get it to someone who can have a look at it and hopefully fix it for me? So really I just need something cheap with a lot of headroom for the random occasions where my AC-30 isn't quite loud enough? It's pretty rare for me to need much more than one of my 15w amps but there have been a few times something much bigger would have been nice? I don't really care about the dirt CH's much, I just want something that will take pedals well @ higher volumes and @ $230 it's hard not to justify getting one? As far as I can tell from the reviews I've been able to find the one thing they do well is take pedals & not break up until you have it cranked! Probably a good thing because the distortion sucks apparently? Does anyone have any experience with them? If so please share....

Well, I just got the combo today and my buddy has a 333XL head. The clean on these amps is great, and personally, I love the distortion channels. They can certainly get away from you if you don't watch the amount of gain and bass you dial in, but I like the way it sounds, especially for heavy distortion. I'm not sure about the speakers in this combo, but since you're getting the head, I'd make sure you put it through a speaker cab with some really good speakers. I believe this amp matches up with V30s Really well also.

Well for now it's going to have to run out of my 2X12 loaded with two seventy/80's? Sometime in the next few months I plan on replacing them with some Creambacks or Vintage 30's, maybe one of each? I had another 2X12 with one of each & it sounded amazing!!! I guess I'll have to get a feel for the head before making any final decisions? I'm a big Creamback fan so I'm kinda leaning towards them @ the moment but that may change when I buy & try it???
