So what are you planning to match the 10k with?

Seriously, what is the intended target?

The 10k pup project looks pretty solid so far. What pups are you going to match it with and in what guitar?

Personally, I am going to put it in one of the PRSi and likely match it with a PG neck since that pup works so well in every PRS I have tried it in. Just a question of whether to go covered or not.

I'm going to put it in my LP first to replace the C5. The '59n should be a perfect match!
Then I'll save up for a Singlecut where it will meet it's new home. By that time I'll probably get a PAF like neck humbucker to go with it. Maybe an APH or at least someting A2 for really sweet tones.

I have a low resistance (8.1k) PGb that I think will do nicely with the 10k. I'll try them in my Hamer. Hopefully they will pair well. :burnout:

I thought about droppong it into my LP but I like the Fralin Set in there now.

Yeah but somehow it seems only natural to put it in a LP type guitar

I'll probably put it with my nickel 59 in my main LP....Goldtop. I know that guitar sound well with the C-5, so I'll see how I like it.

If I don't like it better than the C-5 in that LP, I'll put it in my teal black McCarty, along with a nickel PG or 59.

If I can manage to only get it as a TB because there´s enough interest, I´t ll be going in a Floyded Singlehum Guitar that I haven´t built or bought yet

I will either put it in my Hamer Special FM matched with a Seth in the neck. Or I will put it in the home made korina/maple V my brother made me for Christmas, paired with a 59 at the neck. I haven't decided yet. It will be covered either way.

Either I'll put it on my ElDegas LP Copy when it finally gets finished. It'll go in the neck, covered, probably with a Gibson Dirty Fingers in the bridge or un-covered in the bridge with either a DiMarzio PAF (also double cream) or my 59/PAF hybrid (Zebra) in the neck. It may also go in the neck of my Strat along with the covered C5 I have... that'll be a third pickguard for that guitar...

I'm gonna put it in my backup, a 50th anniversary MIM Strat. I have fat 50's in the neck and middle and I don't care for my fat 50 bridge pup. I think it will match up OK if I lower it a pinch.
