So what's the scoop on Fender decals?

Is it possible to get Fender headstock decals anywhere? I managed to track down a Fender Telecaster decal this past week (seems like it's the last one in the city :smack: ), but from what I've heard they're next to impossible to get, as Fender usually lays the smack down on anyone attempting to sell such a product.

oooh... i didn't know you could get them off ebay. This will make my Warmoth (future build) a lot more convincing haha.

Legally: you can only get them from Fender directly
Illegally: Anyone and his mother with a Laser printer. Pop up on the Bay all the time, but don´t expect the auction to be around for long

I've got a guy that sells on the bay from time to time....I have his mailing address and e-mail address. I can hook a brother up if you need. Really quality stuff.

I ordered one off ebay but ebay pulled it off listings because it violated copyright laws. they "urged me not to complete the transaction". I still got an invoice, so i sent the money. Never got the decal. If anyone knows where I can get a 70's style strat decal (oversized headstock) PM me please

You send in your old neck via an authorized dealer, not sure what other things have to be done

I have a vintage musicmaster neck that has at some point in time lost the logo. They're really hard to find, and i don't think fender would have those logos anymore?
Maybe you could hook me up too, Jeff?

just my personal opinion: unless your trying to rip someone off, why does it matter, I used to look for them too, but I don't care much anymore, doesn't change anything really.

I think it gives a person bragging rights to say that their guitar is a "Fender".

For any of you looking for these decals, this is the guy that I have used....very high quality stuff. I must have deleted the e-mail, but he sent me some photo's of his stuff before I ordered, and he can do any decal from any period.

The one I ordered is immaculate and looks just like the real thing.
