I know people have reported problems with bugera amps, and those problems only being with the 333xl model, I spoke with their customer service and had been told the problems had been fixed, this was in january mind you, early last month (about the 5th) my local dealer got in his shipment of bugeras(second batch) so I've been gigging with the 333xl.
(I rent it from him for 30 bucks a gig, as i'm in the process of testing how much the qc has improved to see if its worth buying. and so far, i've had no problems with it, gigged it 8 times so far, it sounds to me like a poor mans JSX(which isn't too expensive, this is just less than half the price of the JSX), with a hint of Dual rectifier tonalities depending on the settings and tubes you have in it, it had EL34's which I the shop owner swap for 6L6's (they are interchangable in these amps) for a while(hence most likely why it sounded a bit like a recto for a while) but I decided to go back to the EL34's and i'm loving it the way it sounds, it feels solid, just awesome especially for the price. I plan on giving it another month of gigging before I make my final decision. to see if it will hold up to just that much more gigging.
I will say put some good EL34's in there if you want it to really kick some ass. If anyone is interested in these I would recommend you check them out.
