Soap Bar to Dog Ear

I've been wanting to buy some used dog ear P-90 stacked humbuckers, but they just don't seem to show up used. I do run into the soap bar stacks from time to time.

Is it possible to convert a soap bar P-90 to a Dog Ear P-90?

If you are in Europe, I would be only too happy to sell you some stacked-coil, noise-cancelling P-90 style pickups.

Unfortunately, the greater than normal depth of this pickup type means that a dogear metal baseplate would need to be made specially.
