Hey folks,
I am planning to upgrade a really cheap HSS superstrat that I bought about 5 years ago. I have to buy everything (electronics, frets, paint?), and I am a bit lost with the bridge pup.
However, I don't want to get a different tone, I am trying to get and HD version of the guitar (same tone/sound and feel but better).
So, I have tried the Alt 8 (the one that sounds really good on my LTD), but it's just muddy as hell on the strat.
Just to give you a clue, 'When The Children Cry' by White Lion (solo part) has THAT tone.
Any suggestion?
