Some live clips from last Saturday

Re: Some live clips from last Saturday

Sounding pretty darn good to me, bungalowbill, for a live recording. Nice feel, tight harmonies, tasty playing. Thumbs up from me.

I like the low notes you hit at the end of the Little Sister solo.

When performing Evil Ways, are you ever tempted to sing "Love potion number nine....." :D

Badass solo on Evil Ways.... (I'm editing this as I'm listening :))

Thanks for the kind words and the time you took to listen.

Chris...I should find an old talk box and end the evil ways tune with a talk boxed "love potion #9"........that would be pretty cool.

As soon as I read that, I heard "Kick start my heart...." :laugh2:

Yeah, that would be a hit.

Nice job on the recording. Keep on doing what you're doing, band seems to work well together.

Where's Mr T went?! The vocals on Evil Ways sound a heck of a lot better than the ones I listened to before. Harmonies and stuff!

You have an exceptionally nice guitar tone. Tight band - not my sort of music really, a little bit TOO polite, but I can appreciate how good you guys are. The hammond solo is sweet, very Doors-ey.

Nice version of Evil Ways. You guys totally catch the vibe. Are you using the Crunch Box during your lead break on that one?

Sounds good! I especially like the Santana tune. Nice job on recording live, too!

Yeah..rootsy and cool!!
Had the Jimmie V thing going on for me by the way...which I rather like!

Thanks Niels...I imagine you listened to "Little Sister"...Now that I think about it, I guess I do have a Jimmy Vaughnish thing going.

The vocals on the other recording were off of overdriven monitors...this was recorded out front, so better vocals.....this recording is a fair representation of how we sound live.

Thanks for the compliment on my tone..I appreciate it...I work on it a lot.

I wish we did a metal tune (I know that is more your cup of tea)...I cut my teeth on Randy Rhoads ,although it may not show in my playing.

Thanks Erik....that was the Crunch Box..the gain was at about 10 o'clock and the tone was about 12 o'clock....there was a little compression added from the recording though.

I love that pedal....does a good job on many things. :)

I'm sure you can shred with the best of them, but your music doesn't call for that. What you're playing in these clips fits the songs, is very enjoyable to listen to and to top it all you have a beautiful tone. :arms:

I'm not solely into metal, Jethro Tull are my favourite band and I love the Doors, Beatles etc. If you guys were playing near me I'd certainly go along and have a great time.

It sounds awesome with your setup. Get some more recordings. :)
